Career & Technical Education at Stellar Virtual

  • Interested in fostering an industrious spark for the future? Want to make sure the next generation is ready to take on the family business? Our Business, Marketing, and Finance pathway might be the right fit! This four-stage pathway leads up to capstones, internships, practicum, or apprenticeships with real, hands-on experience. 

    • Courses may include:  Accounting; Principals of Business, Marketing, and Finance; Investment; Financial Management; Personal Finance, and more.

  • This pathway will give students a competitive edge in healthcare positions and medical school applications before you have a high school diploma in hand. Our Health Sciences pathway prepares students for careers as doctors, nurses, EMTs, and more, providing hands-on experience so you can feel confident entering a high-stress industry.

    • Courses may include: Principles of Health Science; World Health Research; Emergency Response and Medical Technician; Anatomy and Physiology; Medical Therapeutics, and more.

  • Inspired by a Stellar teacher? Interested in passing on that inspiration to the next generation of students? This pathway prepares students for jobs related to teaching, instruction, and human development, with internships and practicum that may expedite your path to a teaching license. From preschool teachers, to daycare workers, to HR managers, these skills will allow you to guide your own students to the stars.

    • Courses may include: Principles of Education and Teaching; Child and Adolescent Development; Health and Family Education; Early Childhood Education; Human Growth and Development; Instructional Practices and more.

  • From farm managers to agricultural technicians, there's a whole world of scientific opportunities in agriculture. This pathway prepares students for agricultural careers, working through courses to a hands-on capstone. By the time you have a certificate in hand, you’ll be prepared to spring into the workforce. 

    • Courses may include: Principles of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources; Food Science; Plant Science; Greenhouse Management; Floral Design and more.

  • Are you looking for careers that blend artistic expression and professional development? Here’s a path the will ensure students can use their artistic talents to establish a stable, professional career. Our Arts, A/V Technology and Communications Pathway allows our students to explore careers in Video production, Graphic Design, Communication, and Broadcasting, while gaining vital industry experience before graduation.

    • Courses may include: Digital Design & Media Production, Graphic Design and Illustration, and Audio/Visual Production.

  • Some students are eager to leave the classroom behind and start working with their hands. We understand — that’s why we’re implementing Dual Credit Trade Programs for students ready to jump into a trade. With our partner, Penn Foster, students can gain credit toward becoming a licensed professional while you finish up your high school diploma.

    • Careers include:

      • HVACR Technician - Repair high-tech heating and cooling systems.

      • Residential Electrician - Install and maintain electrical systems in homes.

      • Construction Trades - Build structures using professional tools and blueprints.

      • Drafting with AutoCAD®  - Create precise 3D designs using computer software.

      • Plumber - Manage water systems and solve complex problems.
